The Music of Laura J. Cozzi

Laura J. Cozzi has been well known to Santa Barbara audiences since her Musical Theater days. She has sung and danced her way through many a musical at the Lobero Theater and other theaters in Santa Barbara and Los Angeles.

At the age of 21 Laura was cast in her first professional production of, "A Funny thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" an "Equity" production starring Tony Geary, Dom De Luise and a cast of veteran character actors. After that experience, she moved to Los Angeles with a scholarship to the LA Dance Academy. It wasn't long before she began working in commercials, features and television pilots. She also appeared on an episode of " L.A. Law ".

Laura J. Cozzi is currently a proud member of the "Screen Actor's Guild Union".

More recently Laura has performed at Chumash Casino in Santa Ynez, SOhO on State St. in Santa Barbara, James Joyce also on State St. as well as The Palms in Carpinteria, The Royal Scandanavian in Buelletin and The Big Yellow House in Summerland. In Ventura J's Tapas and Shiela's Place in Camarillo. Festivals and events include Cancer Foundation's "Viva La Vida", Strawberry Festival, Aloha Festival, and Vandenberg Air Force Base Holiday Event, just to name a few. Most recently are Channel Islands Corinthian Yacht Club, Capistrano's Embassy Suites Mandalay, and The Wilshire Grand Hotel and Ballroom in Los Angeles. Laura has discovered that singing RnB, and even a little Jazz is really where her passion lies and it shows.... because when she performs she can really knock the socks off of anybody......
